What is a Lightroom preset?
A preset is a filter that allows you to quickly edit your photos in Lightroom (both desktop and mobile). Once a preset is applied to a photo, you can make little adjustments to the overall lighting, exposure, color tones and more to achieve your desired look.
What do I need to get these presets?
You will need either the Lightroom Mobile App (for mobile presets) or Lightroom Classic downloaded to your laptop (for desktop presets). The mobile app is free and the desktop version is a subscription.
NOTE: it is recommended that you download the mobile presets on your desktop first and then transfer to your phone. You will receive an installation guide with all steps to get your presets on your desktop and mobile.
What’s the difference between the Desktop and Mobile versions?
The presets themselves are the same on both the Desktop and Mobile Classic Collection packs, however they are provided to you in formats that work for each setting. Desktop presets will only work on the Lightroom Desktop version, and Mobile presets will only work on the Lightroom Mobile app.
Editing in the Lightroom Desktop version will give you more control over your edits and is the recommended format, however if you’re just looking for on-the-go editing on your phone, the Mobile version is perfect!
Once I apply my preset on my photo, am I finished?
Our presets are designed to be the perfect starting point for your photos. Because each photo has different lighting and exposure, you’ll likely have to make a few changes to get your desired result. This is where the magic happens! Have a play around with the exposure, temperature/tint, highlights and saturation levels until you’ve created your masterpiece. All of our preset packs include an installation guide with tips on editing to help you achieve your desired effect.
It is highly recommended that you shoot your photos in RAW format. This allows you greater control over the edits you make. Our presets were created to be used on RAW images and will look the best with this format, however they can still be applied on JPEG.
Please note that these presets may look different on drone photos and you may need to do more editing for these. Specific drone presets are in the works!
How will I receive the presets?
After purchasing, your presets will be emailed to you right away. You will receive a unique download link that lasts for 24 hours from the time you purchase.
For DESKTOP: you will receive a PDF guide with download instructions as well as editing tips and tricks
For MOBILE: you can download your mobile presets in two ways:
Download the .zip file to your computer and unzip the file, then transfer to your phone via Airdrop, DropBox, etc. (this is the recommended way!)
Download the .zip file to your phone and unzip the file
Once downloaded, follow the instructions in the PDF guide provided. You will also receive editing tips and tricks.
Are all sales final?
